Hello!

I'm interested in displaying a boot progress bar with dietsplash. I have noticed the dietsplashctl program, but when I use it to update dietsplash nothing happens. Have I missed something?

I can build and run dietsplash, and send progress updates using dietsplashctl, but I can't see any infrastructure to handle the updates. Is this where one would add conditional checks at line 120 of events.c and call the appropriate function to handle status updates?
