Won't Run DST

Tried several times to get it to work. Downloaded and extracted Source into the program's files, thinking that would change it. It didn't. Get the same error every time:

Could not find part of the path 'C(path to where I have the program installed)\nucleuscoop-2.0-alpha-8(1)\release2.0-Alpha8\games\Don'tStarveTogether\steam_api.ini'.

Anyone got any fixes? Can anyone at least tell me why this is happening?

same problem went and found the correct files and extracted them to the folder specified

THEN IT STARTED SAYING... image

seems to be compleatly broken in this release falling back to previous release until fixed...

correction older releases have the same problem... seems to be a windows or steam issue
