Nope, sorry never got this to work. Gave up and started working with routers as it made more sense for my case.

Good point. Since I've decided to use routers with Libre Mesh instead of Pis, I've given up on making this work. I'll gladly take a PR in case someone else...

I haven given up to make it work for now @fabiengagne.

That's the conclusion I reached also, and what I'll be using for the mesh setup.

Would be great to have vision available.

That fits well with the idea of #28, where real persistence can be achieved by using an external USB drive.
