Writing panel centered

Is your feature request related to a problem?

During the test run of the Ringvorlesung I noticed that the writing panel was always on the left side of the screen with 50 or 60% of the screen being just blank white. Also folding the side panel does not change the size of the panel at all. Maybe that is due to my screen resolution of 3840x2160 but I would like the tool to scale for these resolution as well as it is extremely uncomfortable and annoying when you always have to look at the left of your screen while most of the rest is blank.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like the panel in which questions or a whole document has to be written to be centered and using ~50% size of the screen so that you can focus on the writing. Just like this exact feedback forum on github.

Describe alternatives you've considered

If automatically adjusting the size to the width of the screen is not possible I would prefer to be able to adjust the size manually inside of the bounds of the website.

Unfortunately I did not make a screenshot that I can attach to this but I hope it is still understandable.
