Images versus Videos thumbnails

Without having libav or ffmpeg, videos have a play button icon on them. With both thumbnails for images and videos enabled, I find it impossible to know if it's an image or video unless the filename is fully visible or I just click it.

I checked the settings and couldn't find something about that.

Would it be possible to have some kind of symbol or something on top of the thumbnail that implies it is a video? If that is indeed possible would be nice to have it as toggle-able setting.

I suspect this should be easy to implement on the CSS side.
