I appreciate that users want to see this app on F-Droid, I do too. For now, however, please understand that I'm trying to balance my own immersion, work and the development of this app at the moment.
I'm trying to plan out getting this done along with setting up CI/CD. However, my current priority is to deliver new features and improvements that directly benefit the user experience inside the app. I am more motivated to spend time on that, over seeing jidoujisho on a storefront.
Though I will leave this issue open as something in consideration.

Updating from F-Droid will be much easier and introduce the app to new people.
I have finally gotten around doing this, and am happy with the suite of features that I have to be able to work on things like this now.
You can track the progress of my request to be included in F-Droid here, and I have merged 2.6.0 to main which should now remove all non-free dependencies and analytics that prevented the app from getting into F-Droid.
This is at a huge cost of removing my ability to get crash reports very easily from users, but I believe that going for full FOSS is the way to go after all, and there has to be a way around making error logging and gauging user engagement other than using the Firebase suite.
Will keep this issue open as the request tracks and hopefully I can improve CI/CD to keep in mind my deploys to F-Droid in the future as well.
