vocabulary of the entire video directly in anki And google translator for other languages

Hey, I wanted to know if in the application it is possible to put all the sentences of a video in anki, instead of going one part at a time watching the video I feel that it takes time,And also if it is possible to have a google translator to translate from other languages,I understand that google is not good for translation but it would help a lot

This is something that is definitely possible but I don't believe this will at all be a technically smooth experience, even on the best mobile devices. There are tools out there that mass generate cards for all subtitles in a video on desktop, and yet I wouldn't recommend them for daily use -- I wouldn't recommend jampacking everything you encounter in an episode or video all in your SRS.

It's possible to make perhaps, a special transcript option when you have the Creator open, and also have bookmarked sections of a video that you flag for export, but such an option will generate the clips on the fly for each saved section. It's possible for this option to exist as perhaps, a creator enhancement or a new media source-specific option for mined video in the Creator.

My recommendation in the meantime, is that you use the Add to Stash quick action to mine words you encounter, and get good example sentences for them and even be able to pick out better images than screenshots of a video that wouldn't even pertain to the word in question.

On the sidenote of implementing Google Translate, it is one of my goals to be unopinionated as to how people learn and create cards with this tool. Above that, and take no sensationalism in my choice of words with this next statement, I still feel a responsibility to do no harm and provide a quality experience and sources of truth for supported languages.

This app imports community made dictionary files extracted from trustworthy sources, and gets example sentences from similarly curated sources. Same goes for the parser.

I have in the past, implemented YouTube's auto captioning to be shown in the app for videos that didn't have it. The bottom line is, I feel guilty for any mislearnings and damages I cause presenting machine translation to a user. It's just not good enough and I want to do better. If I am going to support more languages, I want to get it right, and it needs to be as good or better than how the Japanese support is now, and I can't settle for less. It is for the same reason that ML Kit is now also gone for the app for the time being while I review what better options are now out there.
