Well it fails Travis CI that's set up for the project here.

Please reopen this issue. This is clearly a bug. Furthermore, there is no way to determine outdated plugins that are specified in `pluginManagement` whatsoever with the versions plugin

Trying to use this in Payara, and getting all sorts of intermittent errors. Doesn't look like this works correctly currently Looks to me like this is abandoned. What a shame.
