Downloading Manjaro 20.2 here to see if I can reproduce the issue.
Can't reproduce on a VM with an up-to-date Manjaro 20.02. Installed HardInfo with pacman. Updated to the version from Git, and it seems to work fine, too. If you're willing...
These error messages aren't produced by HardInfo, but rather by programs called by it. They should be harmless. Are you able to see these devices in the USB devices list?
After the next version of HardInfo is released, I'm planning a complete rewrite. I'll consider this when designing the new version. With the current design, this is difficult to do....
I do have at home but I won't be back until the end of the month. On Tue, Aug 20, 2019, 01:24 bp0 wrote: > I don't have any DisplayPort...
In one of the computers I ran HardInfo on, with an nVidia card (nouveau driver), running X11, and connected through a DisplayPort cable, the Monitors section is empty.
My laptop's monitor EDID (copy/paste from HardInfo): ``` 00ffffffffffff0009e5d00600000000 011a0104a51a1178023373aa5245a926 124e5200000001010101010101010101 0101010101013e8a40a0b08014703020 84000ab11000001a0000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000fe0042 4f452048460a202020202020000000fe 004e5631323641314d2d4e35320a0019 ```
This is really weird. The place that calls `gdk_x11_screen_get_window_manager_name()` actually checks if the default screen is valid before. It shouldn't crash there. I'm also on Arch Linux and Wayland, with...
Good idea. It's possible to not include a whole category of things in the report, but finer control to scrub potentially-sensitive data in reports isn't that easy to do. There...
@tiagofiorini Yes, it absolutely could be a feature. Other similar tools for Windows do exist and HardInfo could provide it. I'll think about this, but please don't hold your breath....
