interface name with () creates problems

Hi,

I'm trying to graph a sonicwall and one of the interface has () in the name, ie fw-1-X0-(LAN) , and i'm getting this sh: -c: line 0: syntax error near unexpected token `(' in the logs

any idea on how to fix?
