Specify coordinate range for generic dezoomer

Open ackern opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

This subway map won't download: https://fahrinfo.bvg.de/Fahrinfo/bin/query.bin/en?&ujm=1

I have tried: (1) Using generic dezoomer with https://fahrinfo.bvg.de/tiles/base/15/{{X}}/{{Y}}.png (2) Disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox

One thing that could help is that I don't need the entire image. I only need less than 1/10th of it; here are the tiles that mark the outer corners of what I want. Is it possible that specifying the range would make it work and if so how do I do that?

The errors I've been getting are: After reaching the point where it says "Loading the tiles (100%) - Converting image...." it doesn't do anything beyond that after 5 or 6 hours. I tried a couple times, sometimes it stops after 4 hours or so at "Loading the tiles (31%)".

dezoomify does not have this functionality at the moment. You may want to try dezoom.sh, which can do that.

There was also a recent change in dezoomify concerning very large images. Image size is now limited to 268 megapixels. You should also read our documentation concerning very large images: https://github.com/lovasoa/dezoomify/wiki/Very-large-images

dezoomify-rs has a custom YAML dezoomer which does what you want: it lets you specify custom bounds for x and y. See https://github.com/lovasoa/dezoomify-rs/wiki/Usage-example-for-the-custom-YAML-dezoomer
