Amiga file type checking support - prefixes vs extensions

It would be nice to implement support for Amiga file type detection, basically coding all the places that do routing of files to inputs based on extensions, should also check if the part of the filename before the first period matches a supported file type extension, and still open the file.

I'll look into implementing this soon.
