Date and numeric filtering example not filtering on firstname/lastname

Hi,

When trying the "Date and numeric filtering" example in the documentation, the firstName and lastName filter boxes don't seem to do any filtering. The date and numeric filters seem to function ok. The reasons I am specifically interested is that I cannot work out how to have a strict filter on only one column (the olher columns still matching by substring).Specifically, in the example "Strict mode filtering", enabling the strict filter for the last column means that all other columns are now strict, is this intended?

Hi, I think the example on date & numeric is broken, I'll have a look. However the strict mode example seems to work fine for me. Note the filters are cumulative working as "AND" so if you select bachelor only then changing the input for the lastname will result in "SELECT items WHERE education = "bachelore" AND lastname ILIKE "newinput" "

Thanks for your reply. I think you are referring to the “Custom search plugins” example which as you say does work, so I will take a look at this to get my filter working. I was actually referring to the “Strict mode filtering” example just above, but I see now that this has strict filtering across the whole table (By the way in this example I think the first name column filtering is not working, e.g. searching on "LAURENT" gives no rows)
