because thats the main utility function running sub-commands and piping their output to the standard output. colors disappearing means some form of transformation happening on the output of those sub-commands...

Yes and regardless of readability compliance with common mark is essential. But I suspect it actually wouldn't be long until it is [fixed on Marked](https://github.com/markedjs/marked/issues/1699).

thats a pretty great idea. there would be a trade-off of further limiting the already limited space on the footer on smaller phones, but I will toy with the idea...
