Open Tensha opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Hi, im using kali linux 2023.2. I have already installed latest stable version of google chrome browser. But... when i try to launch loophole desktop x64, thats is what i can see:

./loophole-desktop {"level":"fatal","time":"2023-06-08T13:29:09-04:00","message":"Unable to run Chrome/Chromium: websocket.Dial ws://127.0.0.1:45931/devtools/browser/ status"}

Any advice?

Hi @Tensha sorry that loophole desktop client is not working for you at the moment. Which version of chrome is installed exactly? We will try to reproduce and fix it. In the meantime, the loophole-cli should be working for you.

I have uninstalled chrome for chromium, the one in the kali apt repository: Chromium 114.0.5735.90 built on Debian 12.0, running on Debian kali-rolling

sudo ./loophole-desktop [sudo] password for kali: {"level":"fatal","time":"2023-06-09T06:14:09-04:00","message":"Unable to run Chrome/Chromium: EOF"}

./loophole-desktop {"level":"fatal","time":"2023-06-09T06:13:58-04:00","message":"Unable to run Chrome/Chromium: websocket.Dial ws://127.0.0.1:35795/devtools/browser/82d9949c-8fa8-4fa2-94f4-b5dcc889fda6: bad status"}
