second display issues

lg gram 17 with 11gen i7 evo thunderbolt to hdmi not even recognized / works in win11 hdmi connected screens flicker

the latest version of ubuntu works to some degree with second display but i seem to have some freezing and you can't hot swap the hdmi cable

with out 2nd display linux is unusable for me on the lg gram 2022 :(
