Curtis W. Fraŋks Recommendations/feedback for §3.12:

In Latin orthography section, explicitly say that, in writing, (sub)strings of a single repeated symbol represent extended utterance of the corresponding lerfu but, for the purposes of parsing, collapse into a single instance of that symbol. Phonetically, all lerfu except plosives can be so extended in practice, but in writing and for the sake of aesthetics Lojban accepts repetition of plosive symbols too. The following symbols may be so repeated but probably will not be: "." (denpa bu), "," (slaka bu), "'" (.y'y). (This is a somewhat unofficial rule.)

Split up the Latin, Cyrillic, Tengwar, and Zbalermorna orthographies into their own subsections or at least put spaces/breaks between them.

Mention that capitalization in the Cyrillic orthographic mode works the same was as in the Latin mode and has the same meaning.

In the Tengwar orthography section, we should display the symbols, but we should also keep their names for the sake of reference, disambiguation, and rendering issues.

In the Zbalermorna orthography section: • The examples like "( "drani" )" etc. seem to have a space between the quotes and the parenthesis. • Is there a missing open parenthesis for when discussing the radical element for "u"? If so, correct this. • I would like a page break right before the line which introduces the radical elements table. • Clarification/correction: When discussing words that begin with "i" or "u" such that it is immediately followed by a vowel, the radical for the initial denpa bu is indeed not used but the radical element for "i" or "u" for the initial lerfu of the word is indeed used. The example for ".ii" is wrong because it should have ⟨ʌ⟩ as the radical element. • Give the examples for the experimental/hypothetical words ".iai", ".iau", ".uai", ".uau", and "flaia" (where the "i" is given by the radical element) in addition to what is already present. • Give an example of the combining .y'ybu usage. • Include information about the atypical stress markers in the Zbalermorna orthography.

General proposals (slightly longer project): • All Latin orthography Lojbanic text should use the acute accent diacritic on the stressed (non-glide) vowel and should advocate for this or similar orthographic styles. • All Lojban text should come in both Latin and Zbalermorna orthographic modes.
