Try to find people in the Django community who like CRDT, distributed systems. Give them a link tot he project.
Here I am! I would be happy to help to promote this project.
And also don't forget to mention this project during https://conf.python.ru/moscow/2020 🙂
@sobolevn awesome. In what step do you want to help? Do you need any extra information and promo materials?
I can help you with:
- Collect Django related podcats and newsletters. I have a big list of those (we can also invite you or @egregors to MoscowPython podcast)
- Share your articles about logux + django with our community
- Test it a little, I will give this a spin whenever I will see a fit for it
- Try to find people in the Django community who like CRDT, distributed systems. Give them a link tot he project.
@proofit404, you might be also interested. Artem is Django-core dev, his work was primarly focused on websockets and channels.
Extras:
- I am also interested in wider https://github.com/typeddjango adoptation (which you are already using!) At some point we will collect all significant projects that use
django-stubs - Maybe you can tell if integration with https://github.com/dry-python/returns is a good fit for your project?
Thanks a lot for your work! This is an awesome tool for Django community.
I like the idea of MoscowPython Podcats 😸 We can take both me and @egregors.
I think Logux is not ready to wide promotion until Logux Data will be implemented. So slow step-by-step promotion is the best way for me.
Hi guys,
Thanks for invitation to this conversation.
I do think that logux is indeed a project which deserves a lot more attention from the community.
But in relation to Django... I lost any interest of contributing to its ecosystem long ago.
If there are any plans to make framework agnostic implementation of logux in Python, I would like to make my contribution to it.
All the best wishes :palm_tree: Artem.
@proofit404 can you open a separate issue since the Python-universal solution is not part of the promotion?
Yep, sure.
