LED matrix alpha channel not working

when i set the alpha channel to zero it won't make the led matrix transparent and just makes it dark, so i cant see behind the led matrix

Could you describe a use case where this transparency would be useful? Indeed, there are case, where it is sensible to place components on top of each other in Logisim, e.g., the BCD to seven segment converter, where you can place the seven segment display right on top of it. However, in these cases, we don't need to see what is behind.
