new autosave does not work consistently

I don't have time to go back through this right now, but you may as well know that something's broken even if you don't plan to fix it until you get screenshots.

I came back to try Copilot again when I saw the "doesn't save the chat results" bug had been closed as fixed.

I do observe auto-save behavior happening, but not consistently. I just started a chat a few minutes ago, and after the very first response by the LLM, I pressed the tiny "start a new chat" button near the text input area.

A new chat was started, but only my prompt for the chat had been saved to the auto-named note. The LLM response was not saved.

Expected behavior

The LLM response should have been saved.

trivial to reproduce as it turns out.

i started a new chat, asked a question - the file gets created immediately, but even after the LLM finishes responding, there's no LLM response in the text file.

this time I saw a warning (but only after my second prompt?) telling me that it couldn't save, and to check the console.
