Add option to print response on chat window
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When running a command, a pop-up window appears and LLM's response is printed on it (in the old versions, responses were printed on the chat window).
Describe the solution you'd like Add an option in the "Settings -> Basic" tab to select which one (pop-up window or chat window) the user prefers to have LLM's response printed.
Describe alternatives you've considered Alternatively, the option can be set for each command in the "Settings -> Command" tab. I'm used to the workflow I've had with Copilot since the beginning, so I don't know when the pop-up window would be useful. But I think it is a good feature, and I imagine it could be useful for certain commands. I'd appreciate it if anyone could share what the change was intended for, or for what scenarios it can be useful.

Thanks for the request. In the newer versions you can use "add selection to chat context" command (you could do it in the right click menu or assign it cmd + shift + L), and then use "slash commands" in chat.

I enjoyed it when LLM responded directly in the chat window by default, rather than requiring multiple steps to achieve it. While I understand the aesthetic improvement of the current version, I find the previous version more usable. It is probably because I didn't understand the intention for the change; in that case, would you mind sharing the use-case scenario you had in mind when you decided to change from printing the response on the chat window to a pop-up window?
Additionally, the "add selection to chat context" command is only available in Copilot-Plus and project mode. I miss the days when I could print LLM's response directly in the chat window by default. I wonder whether you and your team could consider restoring that mode or adding an option to switch to it for general users.
I just found another reason why the chat window could be better: currently, the pop-up window doesn't support markdown syntax. For example, it shows raw **TEXT** without bolding the text, and * without a bullet point.
I'd be just glad if this feature to control printing behaviour can be considered at some point, no pressure at all! I always appreciate you for this great plugin, thank you.
