Slight Shift in Byte Raster Ingest

Black is original GeoTiff, Pink is the GeoTrellis ingested tile (exported to GeoTiff), both visualized in QGIS:

My hypothesis is that this is caused by snapping to the implicit grid imposed by the tiles (the tiling procedure), but that idea needs to be tested.
