Add Wifi direct capability?

This app is already very very good! I mean it is one of the best open source softwares that i use daily ❤️ but one of the problem which i was facing is i can't share anything between my devices when i was away from home since there's no wifi and this app runs using local network
Describe the solution you'd like
So if developers could implement wifi direct capability to this amazing app. It is unbeatable by neither airdrop nor quickshare since this work across windows linux mac android ios!!

I investigated this and it seems like IOS and mac don't support Wifi Direct. They have their own implementation that is just available to Apple devices.

So sadly, this can only work on everything except Apple devices.
Also, I think one thing is worth mentioning here: Wifi Direct is technically supported. You can open your system settings, go to wifi direct, connect through that and then use localsend like you would on a regular network.
But yes, supporting the Android P2P API would be nice to automate this.

How can I use localsend througn WiFi direct now,could explain in detail?
@0x000005 It should be somewhere in your system settings. For me its under: Network -> Internet -> Network settings -> Wifi-Direct
@0x000005 You have to enable Wifi Direct on both devices. I don't know how it works for Windows. I don't even know if it works. Please look this up online yourself. This is a Github issue, not a help forum.

I've heard about Wi-Fi Aware. This is probably very good news, and development will likely move in this direction. See : https://developer.apple.com/documentation/WiFiAware.

But yes, Wi-Fi Aware will probably replace Wi-Fi Direct for the most part, so this issue might be less important.
