Discuss: How to simplify publishing of guide and step by step pages
Publishing a guide or step by step is a lot of work. Content designers have to publish the overview page and all of the child pages
It's an unnecessary chore so we need to fix this
Options
- re-architecting these formats so they're single nodes
- using a bulk operations module
- 'apply state changes to all child pages' option on overview pages
Essex uses Views Bulk Operations https://www.drupal.org/project/views_bulk_operations to allow editors to select content from the /admin/content view and either bulk publish or archive it. They say the UX could be streamlined
