Setting DEFAULT_OS has no effect

Hello, Setting DEFAULT_OS in either boot.ini or multiboot/boot.ini.multi has no effect. Option 1 will always be booted by default. BOOT_DELAY does work. Tested on the prebuilt v2.1.
