Direction of comparison between the disease group and the reference group

Is it possible to know the direction of the differential results from diffcyt? I can see which clusters are significant but I don't know the direction of the difference. I have two thoughts to achieve this. Can you please comment on which one would work: a) Run the diffcyt analysis with reference group set to 0 and disease group set to 1 for the contrast matrix and then repeat the analysis with reference group set to 1 and disease group set to 0. b) Simply set the reference group to -1 and disease group to 1 for the contrast matrix.
