Documentation website seems to be down
Hello,
Documentation website (http://enve-omics.ce.gatech.edu/enveomics/docs) seems to be down since at least Christmas holiday of the last year.
How can I access to the website?
Thanks.
Hello @ilnamkang
It's working for me, and I've been using it during the past month. What error do you get?
Hi,
Below is the message I encounter when I try to access the webpage using Chrome. I tried other browsers (EDGE and Firefox), but the situation is nearly the same.
(Translated from Korean to English by Google translator) "Could not connect to site It takes too long to respond from enve-omics.ce.gatech.edu. Try the following:
Verify connection Check proxy and firewall Run Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT"
Thanks.
Do you get a timed-out message from any of these sites too? http://enve-omics.ce.gatech.edu/ http://enve-omics.gatech.edu/ https://ce.gatech.edu/ https://gatech.edu/
Also, from which country are you trying to access? I'd like to test it via VPN from a location near you.
M
I get a timed-out message only from the first site, http://enve-omics.ce.gatech.edu/. The other three sites respond promptly.
I'm trying to access from Inha University, South Korea.

Quick update: we're working with the institutional IT support to identify the issue, but haven't had much success yet. We also have reports of similar restrictions from some networks in Germany (@lhor), and these seem to affect enve-omics.ce.gatech.edu in all open ports, including:
- http://enve-omics.ce.gatech.edu/ (tools site)
- http://enve-omics.ce.gatech.edu:3000/ (MiGA server for miga-web)
- http://enve-omics.ce.gatech.edu:3002/ (slack channel sign-up form)
I came to know that I can access all the sites if I use 'data saver' extension of Google Chrome.
I've consulted with a staff working in my institutional IT support team. After checking something, he told me that IP addresses from South Korea may have been blocked from the sites.
So, I tried using 'data saver' extension of Google Chrome, which, as far as I know, uses Google server to reduce data amount to be transferred. And, I succeeded. If I turn on the 'data saver' option, I can access the sites. If I turn off, I can't.
