Hotkey to place personal markers

Open dragitz opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

It would be awesome to save multiple markers with a click of a button, but not markers that will then be shared with everyone, so I can remember good spots that I find for gathering resources.

Since 1.7.0 we can edit self placed markers, so if I find a better gathering spot I could edit the ones that I saved!

p.s. I'm still in the waiting list to get whitelisted at overwolf devs, hopefully I will be able to help this project as soon as possible. I have so many ideas

I like to add personal markers. But does the new routes solves your issue too?

The route system is good, but I would really love that option!

Like save the coords with that key and once I open the route maker menu I can fine tune them and when I'm satisfied I can press Save.

For example, when I make a route I simply click on a spot and sometimes I try to go around a mountain, but often times I find myself stuck at the bottom of a cliff when following a path. So my idea is to make and toggle on a route and at the same time be in "edit mode", so in case the current route I'm following generates a problem, I could quickly fix it by pointing a user or myself in the right direction.

After reading my previus comment I realized that it's not very clear, sorry.

What I meant is having 2 paths on. One is a route already made, and the other is in edit mode.

Edit: Instead of personal markes, we could build a route based on the hotkey
