mpv doesn't do anything special during uninit, and I can't reproduce this issue on Linux. are you sure the problem isn't Freebsd here?

Please reply to that KDE issue instead, this is purely a Kwin bug there's nothing mpv can do here.

You're only allowed to use these specifiers, `title` is not expected to work. https://mpv.io/manual/master/#options-screenshot-template `--screenshot-template='%F - mpv'` should be what you're looking for though
