flang failure while compiling 'SparseM' R package

Hello my setup is unusual: I have a Centos-9 x86_64 distribution. CentOS has clang, but not flang; so I took Fedora-38 flang-16.0.1 src and compiled it under CentOS using gcc-12. "flang-new" seems working on some R packages. With 'SparseM', I got a failure with backtrace contained in the enclosed files.

Any idea ?
