shift-click to highlight a range of comments?

github's source view does this well. what if you could click (to enter the "context" or "comment show" view, then shift click to highlight a range of comments? this would let you generate sharable links for more than one comment and you wouldn't need to qualify the link with language "the conversations starts here"...
