Download not working
The download link on the "<>Code" page is not working for me
After several attempts it always stops after about 5 minutes after same amount of time saying "check internet connection" when attempting to resume it says "site wasn't available". Tested on both Chrome and Edge with and without VPN.
Currently using git clone to try and install from link.
Anyone else having this issue?
same with me
Can't replicate this myself, unfortunately. Have you tried the basics - restart router, restart PC?
Hmm just worked fine for me, strange, might have been a temporary server issue of some sort ??
Incase it comes up again for others it previously wasnt working despite having restarted laptop, tried about 12 hours apart incase it was temporary, tired multiple browsers, with and without vpn, and other dloads and everything else on laptop wass working fine including much larger downloads for other sites.
I still have the issue, weird.
I can only think its something wrong with the hosting server for the download???
If anyone is reading this and needs a download you can still install git and python separately from other sources (make sure they're the right versions), make a new folder in your file directory somewhere, and in the address bar type cmd while in the new folder and in the command prompt that appears type
git clone https://github.com/lllyasviel/stable-diffusion-webui-forge.git
and it will just clone forgeui to the folder, from there you can run forgeui by using webui-user.bat, it will take a while the first time as it needs to install venv folder (note it wont work without some kind of model is the stable diffusion models folder)
@Akkare - the download links directly to the latest release on GitHub so I don't think that would be a problem
same for me - been trying to download the main package for the past two days. Same issue. Download stops around 830mb of the 1.7 GB. Tried several browsers.
Everything is the same, I can’t download any version for the second day already.
just a followup - git clone https://github.com/lllyasviel/stable-diffusion-webui-forge.git worked for me but had to downgrade my python to 3.11 for it to work. Everything worked fine installing Forge after this minor hiccup.
I was out of town so I couldn't write a followup. If the issue still persists, to install the zip file, I used a download manager tha thas the capability of segmented downloads. Worked like a charm.
If anyone is having issues still and doesn't wan't to or can't work with git clone, I recommend using a download manager to install the zip file. I myself used "Free Download Manager"
