Cannot Detect Model Version for LORAs

Open DrJimmyBrungus opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Not sure when this happened, but it seems like Forge is unable to tell whether my LORAs are SD1 or SDXL, and filter them appropriately on the Lora tab.

If I go to Edit Metadata on a LORA in the webUI, the Stable Diffusion version is always shown as "Unknown". If I check in A1111 however, the correct version is shown.

Note that this is regardless of whether or not the LORA has a .json file present. A1111 already knows the correct version even if there is no .json. On the other hand, even with a .json present, Forge still gives Unkown as the version.

It appears that got removed with commit d1b8a2676da289d76ad829e78101e8b8f6be6335 It says: Author: layerdiffusion [email protected] Date: Fri Aug 2 13:45:06 2024 -0700

rework lora and patching system

and dora etc - backend rework is 60% finished
And I also removed the webui’s extremely annoying lora filter from model versions.

Not sure why. It kept stuff unambiguous. Now I dont know which lora is for what unless I start sorting in folders by model or the lora explicitly says pony or sdxl, etc

Weird. Really not sure how filtering them is more annoying than having them all mixed up. I already have my Pony LORAs sorted into their own folder, but it's just annoying having to go check in Explorer each time. I guess for now I can just quickly add a "- Pony" suffix to all the filenames so at least I can tell them apart in the UI.

I loved the filtering. Sure, it was not always accurate, but it's better than no filter.
