Any way to link to a note by its GUID?

This looks like an interesting plugin. But how is the GUID used? Is there a way to navigate to a note by its GUID? It would be great if e.g. there was an Advanced URI command that could be used to link notes via their GUID.

my intention is just to use it so that when I publish my notes I know when a note moved, so I'm open to ideas for further usage but I don't have any plans for it

@luckman212 According to the docs on Advanced URI, it looks like what you want to doshould be possible. Except it assigns UIDs on its own, so if you have Advanced URI you shouldn't need this plugin as well.

Hmm. Now I feel silly. Thanks, I will check into that...

Interesting! I installed that plugin but it didn't create UIDs for me, not sure if I needed a configuration option I couldn't find

edit: it creatd an id when I used the "create link to current note" field, but not by default on creation or editing of the file

Interesting. I took this phrase in the docs to mean they were using uids everywhere, but maybe I misinterpreted that. Anyway, the id field name in that plugin is configurable, so at least it should work well with yours.

Navigation with uid is always supported and doesn't need the setting to be enabled.

I should add a note to the README about that plugin, it looks like a very nice complementary piece
