Showing filters of a particular owner

Open sandeepbbk opened this issue 4 years ago • 13 comments

I am unable to use this since we have around 1000+ filters created by so many people. Due to this all filters are not getting loaded when I click 'Create IssueTable from Filter'. What would be good to have is if I can get all the JIRA filters whose owner is the current user configured in the addon instead of all the available filters. This will be a small list.

With the latest version i have just release #266 (v1.4.7) you will now find the option in that dialog to list only your own personally owned filters rather than all you have access to.

Hope this helps.

What type/version of Jira are you using? Can you please provide your temporary User key.

@ljay79 I started getting the same issue mentioned above since today, Filter on or off it throws the below error, "No filters available! Failed to retrieve Jira filters with status [405]!\nMethod Not Allowed" Version, Jira v8.3.1

Go to the add-on's "About" dialog, take note if the user key, enable debugging, perform 1 failing test, then post the key here pls.

Ok, i was able to identify the issue. Again, a difference between Jira Cloud and Jira Server. Sorry. I forgot to check this and also i am not able to test against a Jira Server API at all.

The fix has been released and is waiting for approval from Google.

I did a single wrong click during release, and accidently "unpublished" the add-on ;( no i have to wait for Googles review rather then a 5minute release process... :(

I hope it will fix the issues at the end. Lets stay tuned for Google to review and approve the add-on (again).

All should be fine now. Please check if the latest update is fixing your issues.

This is a related request - I also have a Jira instance with many filters. Could the filter search have a type-ahead / auto-complete, so that I can type or paste a filter name and see the matching filters? I very often know the filter I want to use and don't really need an exhaustive list.

Otherwise, very happy with Project Aid for Jira! Thank you!
