Ungrouped player alts are trying to sync my quest accepting/completion

Open Bobblybook opened this issue 7 months ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug When creating alts, all my other characters on the account will share and sync quests as I accept them. I have playerbots set to log my other characters on while I am online, but I am not inviting them to group at all, they are sitting afk in main cities, yet still sending me whispers as soon as I accept low level quests on my alt, that they are accepting (or trying to accept) the quest.

I do have a guild that I made with my alts in it, but I've tested this with a guildless alt too and it shows the same behaviour.

Commit hash 223ec63ba509

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Configure Same-character player alts to login when you are online
  2. Create multiple characters, accept/turn in quests and test

Expected behavior No quest sharing unless I'm grouped with the bots.

Screenshots WoWScrnShot_070424_214631 WoWScrnShot_070424_214656 Turning in a few quests in goldshire, my two alts are trying to do the same as if they are grouped.

Desktop (please complete the following information): Running on docker, latest azerothcore build. Running azerothcore + the following modules only: Account Achievements Accountbound AH Bot Playerbots

Additional context I've scoured through the config and can't find anything related to this behaviour.. I did ask in discord and apparently this is not intentional at all. I'm happy to look through the source but unsure where bot logging on/grouping behaviour is written.
