@Brandon agree with you! I manage to switch to an openrc system and test the same k3s version, all work as expected. systemd seems playing devil here. :(

upstream have a fix for this https://github.com/hakavlad/nohang/pull/136, hope new release of nohang fix the issue.

Today, we install nohang from ppa, which might not up to date. I think would consider to install it [from source](https://github.com/hakavlad/nohang?tab=readme-ov-file#to-install-on-debian-and-ubuntu-based-systems), we then have the fix.
