I have installed the OS. How do i install the programs (Like the document editor) (And what is this service password and how do i use it?)

Also when i set the time to December 1977 (Either in config or in the set time utility that appears before the 'Starting Viewpoint' message) the system freezes at MP Code 0937 (Even in rigid mode with the diagnostics disabled) Please help!

I have tested it on 2 computers and got the same problem.

Regarding your first question: Read the VP 2.0 Software Installation Manual: http://bitsavers.trailing-edge.com/pdf/xerox/viewpoint/VP_2.0/610E12440_Viewpoint_2.0_Software_Installation_Jul88.pdf.

Regarding your second issue: Why are you setting the time to December 1977? The Star wasn't released until 1981, and Viewpoint 2.0 not until the late 80s. The operating system is rejecting the date you have specified and is instead trying to get the date from the network (which is what 0937 indicates). Choose a date sometime after 1988.

(Issue 1) Ok (Issue 2) I misread the instructions for the software key and thought it said 1977 not 1997
