Additionally, search boxes are placed on dialog widgets and so we cannot assume the background color will be to toolbar color. This also needs to be considered and handled.

As expected MacOS rendering of the tool in the search box is now broken. I really cannot be bothered to adapt this for all platforms and will revert search box...

Weirdly the performance is much better when the sidebar is being shown. It is not at all clear why this is the case!

KML is dropped on Windows already I think? Anyway I think it can be dropped, maybe we clean out in 3.7 since there are lots of features almost no one...
