Connection Test Example

Would it be possible to open source the LiveKit connection test? I'd be interested to see what these checks looked like so that I could create some additional diagnostic tooling. Apologies if an example like this has been posted elsewhere and I've missed it.

Hello. I live in Iran and we have a tough time connecting to the Internet. It would be great if you open sourced the connection tester so we could self host it and use it while our access to outside of Iran is restricted. Thank you.

hey, thanks for raising this, we've added the functionality as a helper class to the client-sdk-js in https://github.com/livekit/client-sdk-js/pull/489 which will be included in the next release :)
