Function/tool calling accuracy reduced after upgrading to V1

After upgrading to LiveKit Agents v1.0, we've observed a noticeable decrease in function/tool calling accuracy. The same script that worked reliably in v0.12.15 is now frequently making incorrect calls. Has anyone else experience this issue and any explanations and solutions this behavior is much appreciated.
