Question: why an age requirement?

Why do you put an age requirement on a simple notes taking app?

Hey Thewisem, thank you for your feedback. I was planning to implement a cloud storage to store user data. But I ditched the plan in favor of a local database. So the app actually does't need to collect the date of birth. We will try to remove the age verification in the upcoming releases!

Thank you for making this app local only. As privacy minded person, I would like to not have my diary have internet access at all. This is a great app you made

This is just a suggestion, but could you encrypt the backup in a future update? Would be kinda great if your app is the only one that could read the backup and it is encrypted. With Regards, Wisem

Be sure to leave an option to NOT encrypt!
