Version 5.3 causes site to run slow and timeouts

hello, I updated from version 5.2.1 to 5.3 via official wordpress update system yesterday and I started seeing performance issues. I was investigating other possible causes within the server, until I found similar reports on the wordpress support forum https://wordpress.org/support/topic/recent-update-causes-site-to-run-slow/ seeing the report I decided to downgrade to version 5.2.1 and the site returned to normal immediately.

wordpress version = 6.1 server OpenLiteSpeed 1.7.16-1+ubuntu20.04+5 Redis 5:5.0.7-2 PHP 7.4

please investigate this.
