strange comment hover bug in chrome

when testing #575 we noticed a strange thing:

After creating a new comment within an overlay, the window jumps to that comment when entering its .comment element.

  • only in chrome (also tested firefox and opera)
  • only happens when creating a new (not necassarily top-level) thread
  • happens only in overlays
