I wasn't sure if my failure to use kubernetes etc was just my own incompetence, but I was in a hurry and I needed something - so quickly cobbled together...

I've found the same thing - thanks for the tip about using the 'flash' output to drive the flash. It's not ideal, but this should work sufficiently well at least...
