Heimdall items suddently duplicated

Open italocjs opened this issue 1 month ago • 4 comments

All links and items in Heimdall have been duplicated twice without any apparent reason. The dashboard now shows every entry three times, which is causing confusion and clutter.

Details: No recent changes or manual edits were made before the duplication occurred. The duplication affects all existing links and items.

is there any log file where this duplication might be recorded? Could you provide instructions on how to check these logs or any other method to diagnose what caused the duplication?

Now, it's missing itens in the Home Screen! It has been working for a very long time, but these past two weeks it's having this weird behavior.

You wouldn't happen to have this publicly exposed do you?

That would be my guess as well

Interesting theory, I do have a few services exposed under Cloudflare, but they are on completely different ports. (just tried accessing the site and heimdall is not available there, as expected)

I also have tailscale for remote troubleshooting (but it requires login, and I did not get any mail about login attempts that I don't recognize).

I have an script that monitors ssh logins and reports to telegram, here were no login attempts.

I was initially thinking of some kind of corruption on the database, as it's being stored in a relatively old ssd (~6 years).

[EDIT] Just moved from the ssd I was using to the OS nvme, I`ll wait a month to see if anything happens again and report back. Also disabled Cloudflare and moved the service to the cloud, so now, there is no external access whatsoever.
