Feature requests
I have several feature request that I think will make Clarkson much more usable and user friendly.
- There should be an option for creating a custom currency.
- The total amount of money for one refuel for now is limited to 999. It should allow more - if there is a custom currency.
- When clicking on the date when the refuel was made - there should be a calendar popping up, so it will make the input of date so much easier.
- The field for how much liters have been poured in the tank, should be calculated (auto completed), if you input the total money you spent and the price per liter.
I would like to hear some feedback on there requests - if they sound reasonable or not.
Hi, sorry for the delay. These all sound sensible requests. I would say that point 3 should already be the case as it's using input[type="date"], although I expect it's a compatibility issue with non-Chrome browsers.
Unfortunately due to familial constraints, my time on this project has been reduced a fair amount (see #21 for more information). If anyone is willing to help maintain this then I'm more than happy to accept pull requests!

I have one to add for myself and that is the ability to share cars. (We share 1 car within the family for example) I did already notice that I could see the fill-ups page if I have the URL, which could be a bit more secure as well.

Hi Rob, yeah I would be very grateful if you can make the changes. I am a bit curious, can you expand a bit on that feature you want to implement - on the sharing of the car. What do you mean by sharing a car, for that car to appear on multiple accounts?

Exactly what I meant 😊 The car just gets linked to multiple accounts (with the current user as owner for deleting for example) Then everyone can login to their personal account and still add fill-ups and view the statistics
