UI extreme laggy after updating to 0.7.1 on linux mint

Same issue on Arch with Hyprland. (Ryzen 7 5800x, RX 7700, 32GB)

updating highscores.

I could reproduce the error by taking away access to the API and then doing a request eg. 1. Blocking the path on browser level 2. Hosting an own development...
