When can we expect a new release?

This shouldn't sound like a blunt question but i was wondering when we can expect a new release to the repo including the merged surface 7 support? Using the github actions works but it doesn't feel complete. What has to be done first before a new version can be officially released?

Also afaik there is no real support for fedora 37 yet. Atleast there is no candidate under Github Actions.
