SLS2 touchpad not working

Hi,

I have installed Ubuntu and I have got Keyboard working but cannot get trackpad working. I get the exact symptom as mentioned here: https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface/wiki/Surface-Laptop-Studio-2

However the solution offered of using the latest beta version of IPTSD doesnt work because the artifacts have expired in https://github.com/linux-surface/iptsd/actions/runs/8767400244

Could anyone people assist?

Same problem. Touchpad is not working. Sometimes (rarely) it does, but otherwise, no response from the touchpad on SLS2.

Is there any information that would help to diagnose ?

With the 6.15.1 kernel, the touchpad is working (select is in the boot advanced selection). However it would be great to find how to fix it for next versions.
